Changes to Project Management September 2006
Project Manager Mel and Project Coordinator Heli. Melanie Parker started work with the EROCIPS Partnership in September 2006 as the new Project Manager and Heli Polonen started working as the Project Coordinator at the same time. Both Mel and Heli are based with the lead partner, Devon County Council, in England and are working to support the techinical Partners deliver the Project outputs. The EROCIPS Project Final Conference was held at the Lifeboat College in Poole, UK on the 6th & 7th September 2007. The free event gave participants the opportunity to learn about the methodologies, tools and guidelines developed over the last three years of the EU-funded EROCIPS Project direct from Project Partners.
New Partner INTECMAR
The Project welcomes a new partner. INTECMAR is a centre assigned to the Ministry of Fisheries and Sea Affairs from the Galician government.
Portuguese and Spanish Joint National Conference in Vigo 14th & 15th June 2007
Conference on Emergency Response to oil spills: Regional approaches in a transnational framework of EROCIPS, was held at the Centro Social CAIXANOVA, in Vigo on the 14th and 15th June 2007. This conference was the 2nd conference hosted by the EU-funded EROCIPS Project Partners.
