Conference on Emergency Response to oil spills: Regional approaches in a transnational framework of EROCIPS, was held at the Centro Social CAIXANOVA, in Vigo on the 14th and 15th June 2007. This conference was the 2nd conference hosted by the EU-funded EROCIPS Project Partners.
Coastal survey GIS is being improved by EHS in order to respond better to pollution incidents.
The EROCIPS Project hosted an Information Day, following the grounding of the MSC Napoli in Lyme Bay in January 2007. The event was held on the 12th July 2007 at the Devon County Council Chamber. Those involved in the response to the MSC Napoli incident were invited to share their experiences with a wider audience, including potential responders to any future incidents.
The EROCIPS Project Final Conference was held at the Lifeboat College in Poole, UK on the 6th & 7th September 2007. The free event gave participants the opportunity to learn about the methodologies, tools and guidelines developed over the last three years of the EU-funded EROCIPS Project direct from Project Partners.
